The Core Muscles

Living and moving from our core muscles creates stability, confidence and peace of mind.

When our core is weak, we tend to suffer from lower -back -aches, lack of balance, poor posture, difficulties getting up and down with ease and standing for longer periods.

The main core muscles are:

Our obliques, transverse abdominals, our hamstrings, serratus

anterior and rhomboid muscles.

In this Yoga class, we will activate these muscles, engaging our core and building on strength and release. This will prevent injuries, ease back pain and help us adapt to life challenges.

Some of the poses will be: dead bug, yoga sit-ups, bridge, boat pose and chair pose.

Please bring a block and a strap to class today!
