Yoga Nidra translates to: Yogic Sleep”. We simply lie down comfortably, supported by a blanket and listen to the guiding voice.
It is all about discovering a state of conscious relaxation, letting the body completely go. The mind begins to settle and we enter into a space where healing, restoration, and inner awareness naturally arise.
Yoga Nidra gently interrupts the cycles of stress, by inviting the body to rest, while allowing awareness to remain present.
Research has shown that deep relaxation practices can help calm the nervous system, reduce high Cortisol levels, support emotional regulation, increase clarity, restore physical and mental energy, and improve sleep.
Beyond the science, there is something really healing about simply allowing ourselves to stop striving and being hyper productive, and instead reconnect with the quiet place within, that has never been hurried or overwhelmed.
We enter into the steady presence beneath the layers of business, worry, and responsibility. And the body begins to remember what a deep sense of peace and connection feels like.
