Yoga as preventative medicine

In a culture that waits for something to get out of wack or break before we seek care, Yoga invites us to act as preventative medicine.

We develop a relationship, a check-in point to listen and to notice the subtle signals that are often overlooked- the tightness in the shoulders, the shallow or constricted breath, the restless mind, the fatigue that quietly builds in us.

Yoga reminds us that health is not something we chase when we lose it, it is a habit we nurture throughout the day.

This awareness is where prevention begins.

When we practice Yoga consistently, we support the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate.

We plant a small seed of how wellbeing feels, we create a place of calm even when life feels demanding.

Stress is one of the greatest challenges of modern life. We carry it in our muscles, emotions, digestion, and our sleep patterns.

Yoga leads us back to balance by creating space for the body’s natural wisdom to emerge.

In meditation we teach the mind to pause and restore.

Breath work replenishes the Nervous System.

Gentle movement supports our structure, helps maintain healthy circulation, strengthens muscles, and bones.

Our affirmations will be:

“ I am worth caring for.”

“ My body deserves attention.”

“ My breath deserves space.”

Much love,

Marielle
