Nobody in their right mind would start a weight lifting class with a hundred Pounds dumbbells.
Yet in a Yoga class, we ask exactly that of ourselves. Carrying most of our body weight on our wrists and hands in Plank poses and Down Dogs.
In this class we will mobilize and stabilize the wrists.
We will gradually add more weight in a slow and mindful manner.
Keeping track of how much weight we can handle in actuality, without pushing or compensating in other area’s of our body.
We will explore how we can keep our shoulder blades snug against the ribs and how our hamstrings can help take weight of our wrists.
For this class, we will use a STRAP.
I hope you will be able to make it!
Much love,
Marielle
