I never lived far from the ocean, growing up. For me it offered a place where I could release tension and reconnect with my intuition.
The Ocean is the beginning of life on Earth, and symbolizes formlessness and mystery. The Ocean can also be seen as a symbol of stability, as it exist largely unchanged for centuries.
In class, tomorrow, we will address “Ocean” poses; Like Turtle pose, Dolphin pose and Clam Shell twist.
We will also play with the flow of the waves in our breathing and the practice itself.
Adding a more “watery” quality to the practice symbolizes Spring.
Please remember that our practice will be at 2PM, to accommodate the European Time Zone.
For the practice you will need a BLOCK or a BOOK.
