Our own place of strength

Strength is often thought of something we build through effort, holding strong muscles and showing endurance.

Yoga is a gentle reminder that true strength is not just physical resilience, it is also the ability to stay steady, calm, and present through life’s challenges. A peaceful mind and a strong body support and nourish each other.

When we hold a challenging pose, we discover the union between the mind and the body. (=Yoga)

We discover the language of our muscles turning on, perhaps quivering.

We meet our edges.

We learn patience.

We learn to breathe through discomfort and remain grounded and connected.

The invitation of the practice tomorrow is a discovery of the qualities of stability, focus, and courage.

The practice is not about forcing or pushing. It is about finding the place where effort and awareness meet. Which means creating a little bit of space between the poses and our response.

We can be powerful without being rigid.

We can be grounded without being stuck.

We can be strong while remaining open.

Much love,

Marielle
