Memorial Day Yoga


Happy Memorial day dear friends!


On this photo my daughter and me are sharing our happiness for her birthday, and transfer admission to the third year of the UW. She worked very hard to get there.


In class we honor the incredible people who fought for freedom and stood up for what they believed in, even when it was scary.

Our practice will be dedicated to all the brave souls who stepped out of their comfort zones and chose to serve others.


Think about all the amazing people who do this every day.

Immigrant parents who clean office buildings at night so their kids can go to college. 

Refugees who are trying to learn a new culture and make a new life for themselves and their families. 

And all the invisible helpers, like moms, dads, volunteers, wives, and husbands, who create safety and well-being for everyone around them.


In our practice, we’re going to open our hearts and lift our spirits for them.

We are going to create strong roots for those who have passed on, and take a moment to be grateful for the freedom we have, and often take for granted.
