At the end of the year, we usually like to look back at our year and celebrate
our successes, draw a nurturing circle around our losses and unfold new opportunities.
We all need to refine our relationship with our bodies and learn how to take care of them while we enter into the new phases in our lives.
This takes energy, patience and practice.
Today’s practice will foster the balance between effort and gentle rest.
We will work with:
-Core strengtheners: baby-sit ups, scissors and side planks.
-Hip openers: lunge, figure four stretch, gate.
-Standing poses: warriors, eagle
-Back bends: reverse table and sphinx
-Twists: seated and supine twist
-Forward bends: down dog, hands to feet
