The amazing Nerve-System resembles an upside-down tree.
The main trunk being suspended from the brain and the branches, all the way to the tiniest twigs leading to the cells of the body.
The distribution of nerves throughout our body is so extensive that we have a “phantom" body made up entirely of nerves.
When the nerve impulses flow smoothly, we enjoy health and a feeling of well being.
But when there is interference, like a pinched nerve, there is bound to be health trouble.
In this Yoga class, we will address the spine to recover our vitality.
Since the spine protects the Spinal Cord and the Nerves leading from it.
We will experiment with Alignment of the Spine, to create structural support for the Nerve System.
In our Yoga poses, we will practice the Coronal Plane and the Sagittal Plane.
Coronal plane: the side- line of our body with the ears lining up with the shoulders, hips and ankles.
Sagittal plane: the mid- line of our body from the third eye, sternum to the belly button.
