Inhabiting a narrow band of feeling not only limits us individually, it restricts our ability to connect with other people.
Feelings are the colors, textures and tones of your response to the world around you.
When you are in touch with your feelings, life is vivid and real. And full of meaningful communication.
There are two main types of feelings that arise during a Yoga session:
-Sensations, the raw, physical experience of being in a body that pulses with energy and is equipped with the five senses.
-Emotions are loaded with meaning and memory and they convey a wide range of messages.
Both are very important for our health and safety.
Today in Yoga we will practice releasing "stuck" emotions out of the tissue and create new vitality.
We will sense the body in space and identify a more authentic movement pattern and way of showing up.
