Disk Health

Our spine consists of 24 discs.

The are located between the vertebrae of the spine.

Each disk is filled with liquid and functions as a stress and shock absorber when our body moves.

When we increase the circulation of the fluid within the disk, we improve the import of nutrients and the export of waste.

Yoga helps to keep the spine vibrant and as a by-product allows us to engage in all the activities of a fulfilling life.

In today’s Yoga class, we will have a dialogue with our spine.

We will strengthen the front and back muscles to help keep our spine elongated.

Refresh our disks with twists.

And enliven the whole spine with forward bends and back bends.

Much love,

Marielle
