Calming Yoga

Life moves so quickly.

Between work, relationships, responsibilities, and the constant stream of information around us, stress can build quietly in the body and mind.

When we practice awareness, stand still where we are and take a moment,

we might notice our tight shoulders, a restless mind, or tension we carry without realizing it.

In Yoga we construct a reset point, a calm place to unwind.

It all starts with grounding, our relationship with our bones, the earth, the rocks, and the mountains.

Reconnecting with our breath leads us back to the present moment.

This Monday we will enter into a gentle physical practice, to help the nervous system to settle.

We will let go of the shape of the pose and plug back into our feelings, and our energetic presence.

Instead of judging ourselves for feeling anxious or overwhelmed, we practice observing with curiosity, kindness, and patience.

Much love,

Marielle
