Psoas is the star of the week.
This postural support muscle starts at the inside of the femur bone, wraps around
the hip and inserts into the lower spine.
It is a phenomenal muscle, as big as a telephone cable.
When we are stressed, Psoas gets tight and goes in hiding.
It will affect our posture, our body will be pulled
forward.
It also effects our nervous system, we will feel more anxious.
To support our body and mind we will release and strengthen Psoas in our Tree pose, Psoas Walk, Launches and Half Moon Pose.
Please have a kitchen CHAIR and a YOGA BLOCK available for the practice.
Much love,
Marielle
