Softening

I

In the past Yoga was practiced in the wilderness. The practice was meant to

soften the hardness of the body and the mind. It originated from the heart and was a direct knowledge of the life force.

Today we tend to alienate ourselves from nature and make ourselves “hard” through our way of thinking, living and being.

When we soften and pay attention to our mind and body in Yoga, we can reactivate the art of listening to the pulsations of life.

In this listening something is touched inside us and we are changed and transformed. Old constructs can be shed and a new consciousness can arise.

Tonight, in class, we will refine this listening and softening.

Please bring a STRAP to the practice.

Much love,

Marielle
