Today we will be addressing knee health.
Knees are simple joints but they have a complex function to fulfill.
Our knees are the most delicate part of our body and they don’t easily repair by themselves.
In order for us to keep our knees strong and flexible and to avoid injuries, we will be focusing on four aspects:
-How well our ankles flex.
-If we use the Psoas muscle in our pelvic movement.
-If our Hamstrings work sufficiently.
-How we keep our knees moving in the same direction as our feet.
The energy of the knee.
The Knee Chakra is a minor energy center that corresponds with the Root Chakra.
Energetically we are invited to be flexible, mentally and emotionally.
When life becomes challenging, our tendency might be to close down and become rigid. This affects our energy flow which has physical impacts on inflammation, hormones and toxicity.
We can practice stepping back, surrendering to the moment. And ground our body in our Warrior Poses or Mountain pose.
