Some area’s in our bodies can show up chronically tight: our face, neck, shoulders, diaphragm or belly are common places for the accumulation of tension.
This tension inhibits the flow of feeling.
The first step is to let your awareness rest on the areas of greatest sensation.
Second, to breathe into them.
And third: to use the exhaling part of the breath to soften and open the sticky or congested places.
In Yoga class, tomorrow, we will specifically work on releasing the diaphragm in our breathing exercises.
We will practice relaxing the facial muscles, the eyes and the roof of the mouth.
Our neck and shoulders will get nurtured and toned in the different Yoga shapes.
And we will connect with our core muscles to find the foundation to relax the belly more.
In other words; we will restore the flow of vitality in our bodies.
“Imagination, not intelligence, made us human.”
