The first thing I noticed coming back from The Netherlands was the changed weather pattern.
The air was crisp, it rained and the wind was firm.
To support the descend of the new season, we will work with the Fall organs tomorrow.
Namely the Lunges and the Large Intestines.
The Lunges disperse fresh liquid which contains energy and nutrients for the entire body.
The Lunges are more delicate in Fall because they are exposed to colder, moist air and mold from the earth. Emotionally the Lunges hold grief. Many of us of us find it difficult to let go of the long, sunny days and the bounty of Summer. We will nurture our Lunges with prana-Yama ( breathing exercises ) and gentle back bends.
The Large Intestine refines digestion of food and energy and releases waste.
Emotionally the Large Intestine invites to look at what no longer serves us in our lives and to let it go.
We will add forward bends and twists to our Yoga practice to support our Large Intestine.
Much love,
Marielle
