By learning how to face our challenges on the Yoga mat, we gain the ability to stay present when the inner storms in our lives pick up and start raging.
In Yoga we practice dropping deeper in our body to access our inner peace.
Meditation is a tool that helps us do that.
We find the witness insight as a whole body experience.
Instead of intellectualizing or dissociating, we experience our feelings, thoughts and sensations and receive the light of awareness.
Tomorrow in Yoga, we will practice a longer meditation in the form of a “body-scan”, to access our rich inner life. We will also practice asymmetric forward bends to relief tension in our lower back.
