basic lunges


After doing laundry, packing up my Christmas decorations and a bit of rest, I feel more settled in Wisconsin again. I am finding my inner center and feel peaceful.


Lunges are ideal poses in Yoga that help us to be grounded and present.

They help us jumpstart the New Year.


Other benefits are:

-Opening of the groin and the hips.

-Stretching and toning the legs.

-Strengthening the knees and ankles.

-Stimulate abdominal organs.

-Increases stamina and lung capacity.

-Decompresses the spine.

-Helps to build mental focus.


For this class we will need two blocks or two fat books.
