A definition of Yoga is: “Harmonizing Body, Breath, and Senses.”
And a translation for Asana: “The natural comfort and joy of our being is expressed when the body becomes steady.”
In class today we will find harmony and stability in our Asana's ( poses. )
Much of our pain, stiffness and disease is caused by the low quality and lack of flow of energy in the body and mind.
Benefits of Asana:
-Our universal life force enhances.
-The veils over the inner light lift.
-As the body finds ease, the mind and the emotions align with it.
-The breath distributes energy through pathways, which encourages relaxation.
