posture

For most Western people the core is not strong or functional.

Weak postural support muscles make it hard to maintain an upright position.

Where do we find our postural support muscles?

In two places:

1. The pelvis.

2. The feet.

1. In our Yoga practice we will address toning in the pelvic floor, lower belly, Psoas Muscles and our Hamstrings to develop balanced posture.

Happy side effects will be: less tight in the neck, deeper breathing, receiving more sustainable energy.

2. We will strengthen the infra structure of the feet.

Through heel raises, balance poses and weight shifting.

Happy side effects: feel less stiff in the back, takes away tension headaches, makes us feel more grounded.

For this class we will need a BLOCK.

Much love,

Marielle
