Core Yoga

We create the best medicine for our body when we can stay firm in our core.

When we activate our body from this place, we can soften around it and keep our smaller jaw, neck and chest muscles relaxed.

Igniting our core comes from:

-Our obliques; forming an X over our chest.

-Our transfer abdominal, the very low belly muscle.

-Our three hamstrings running from the back of the hip to the back of the knee.

-And our Rhomboid and Serratus Anterior muscles that keep our shoulders stable.

These muscles working together provide us the boost of energy to climb a mountain or stay steady in a balancing situation.

With this stability we can add the breathing aspect, to draw vitality in our bodies as self -sustenance. We will allow the breath to come before the motion to provide the relief of tension.
